Toronto: Reaching The Untethered Modern Learner (UML)

Toronto: Reaching The Untethered Modern Learner (UML)
Today’s learners are untethered. They don’t go into the office every day and are often part of a virtual team. And yet, they still need to learn and develop regardless of whether they are working from home, a cafe or the nearby library. Distracted and overwhelmed by infobesity, UMLs - Untethered Modern Learners - want learning to be interactive, collaborative, fun, meaningful and engaging, when and where they desire. On-demand like Netflix. Convenient like Uber. Everywhere like Airbnb.

How are you going to reach them? How will you ensure you help them acquire the skills and knowledge they need to succeed when their preferred first stop for learning is YouTube?

To stay relevant and be effective, you must use digital fluency skills and digital tools to reach an untethered workforce. Mobile rules and social learning approaches need to be harnessed along with micro-learning opportunities.

This workshop gives you that and more: the opportunity to discuss, debate and work out ways to reach the UML. (And no PowerPoint, we promise!)
