On November 6th & 7th, the annual I4PL Conference was held in Toronto.
Didn't make it? Don't worry! We've got you covered. We've collected information on all the hot topics discussed at National, and will pass on what we've learned to you.
Join us at our next event, where we'll share information and provide you with opportunities to share and discuss these topics with your peers. You'll leave this event informed, and invigorated!
Participate in the World Cafe-style event, and learn what's hot in the L&D world.
1. Partnering with the business - Whether you are an independent consultant, or a trainer working in an organization, you probably face the issue of boosting your credibility with senior leadership. Learn how to get a seat at the table, how to quantify the contribution of L&D to the organization, and how to get buy-in.
2. Certification - The new competencies and certification were hot topics at National this year. Even if you've been certified for some time, you might not feel like you fully understand the details. CTDP or CTP? To certify or not to certify? How much is all this going to cost me? These are just some of the questions you'll get answers for.
3. Design thinking - Wake up and shake up your creative juices and find new ideas for delivering learning. Forget lecture and PPT, this discussion will help you to think creatively about the MANY different ways to design learning experiences, and make boring learning (technical training, compliance), or challenging learning (affective content) come alive. Get excited about design!
There will be pizza and refreshments available and plenty of time to network with other members and share ideas afterwards.
Please remember to bring along your business cards to be entered into a draw. Bring a friend as well - non member pricing is available.
