Toronto:Design Thinking to Meet the P&L Innovation Challenge
What is “design thinking” and how can it be applied to P&L design and innovation challenges?

How employees access and use learning is changing dramatically as digital technology continues to transform business. How can the Performance and Learning (P&L) function meet this challenge with innovative programs and services?

Design thinking has emerged as a preferred approach to organizational product and service innovation. The same approach can be used for innovation in learning and development.

This workshop shows learning leaders and practitioners how to shift to a human-centred design approach by leveraging the principles and techniques of design thinking. It is ideal for leaders, those conducting needs and customer analysis, as well as designers, and will help independent practitioners incorporate design thinking in their P&L processes.

Participants learn the basics of Design Thinking as they experience key stages of Discovery, Ideation, Prototyping and Testing through hands-on application of the process to real world P&L innovation challenges.
