Social media is the technical equivalent of communications meeting community - two things we know are critical to organizational cultures and the relationships within them. While social media can be used successfully in many organizations for personal branding and strategic promotions, it also enables connection and collaboration at unprecedented levels. In this session, learn how storytelling connects to social media and learn how various organizations are using internal and external social media networks to build their company culture and strengthen employee participation, connectedness, community, and productivity at all levels.

By the end of this session, you will be able to…

-Describe how organizations are using internal and external social media networks to build their company culture.
-Understand how these networks strengthen participation, connectedness, community, and openness in employees at all levels.
-Provide suggestions for overcoming barriers to adoption of social media.
