About Action Mapping
Since 2008, Cathy Moore and her action mapping process have sought to rid the world of boring training. Action mapping is a collaborative, visual approach to designing training for the business world. This simple, intuitive process streamlines training design, combining elements of a design document and a training outline. When used properly, action mapping promotes practical, activity-based learning that targets the audience behaviours linked to a specific organization performance goal. Training solutions designed using action mapping are smaller, leaner (as the process is designed to weed out unnecessary content), more interactive, and easier to measure.
