Gerard Murphy lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is the proud owner
of Barefoot Facilitation Inc.
A naturally fun, dynamic and engaging facilitator, Gerard is
passionate about creating space for people to engage in conversations that
count – that is, conversations that have impact and stretch people’s potential
for growth and success! Gerard works nationally and provincially to
provide facilitation, training and consulting services to clients within the
voluntary, public and private sectors.
He is a graduate of
the School of Health and Human Performance at Dalhousie University. With a commitment to lifelong learning, he has
completed further studies in public participation, community-based development
and leadership development. Gerard is a Board Member of the Nova Scotia
Chapter of the Institute for Performance and Learning and is a confirmed Professional Member of the Canadian Association
of Professional Speakers.
In his spare moments, Gerard is
likely dancing, sipping a glass of red wine or traveling with his wife,
