Edmonton: The Transfer Of Learning Paradox

Edmonton: The Transfer Of Learning Paradox
When did training and the workplace become separate entities? Separating the two worlds can have negative impacts to individuals and organizations. The transfer of learning doesn’t always happen organically. Usually, more learning and practice are required. The transfer of knowledge from training to workplace settings is much more complex than commonly perceived and can be daunting for any individual or organization to tackle.

Come and discuss:

  • What transfer of learning really means
  • The transfer of learning paradox
  • The different stages of the learning transfer
  • How individuals can support their own transfer of learning
  • How organizations can support the transfer of learning of their employees
