Calgary: Show & Tell Evening - Stories from the Community
Please join us for a departure from our usual event format. For a change in pace, we will be inviting members to present their favorite/current/most recent projects. We'll hear about projects across many different modalities and subject areas. This event promises to be a excellent opportunity for professional development and networking!
We are very impressed with the response of our member to this this event. Here are the speakers we have so far:
Maryna Kaut, AECOM
- Highlights from one of the world's largest engineering and construction firm's management trainee program and how it manages to remain sustainable despite challenging market conditions.
Clint Clarkson, XPAN Interactive
- Presentation of the gamified learning solution recently developed for AltaLink, including avatars, medals, learner autonomy, and cute endangered species.
Merri Lemmex, LemmexWilliams Training
- Discussion of a
multi-year, multi-million dollar project to teach management skills, and shift culture in an oil service organization. The challenge was how to bring management skills to a group of managers who really were resistant to just about everything.
Bathyah Charikar, Bow Valley College
- Sharing experiences from redesigning BVC's online recruitment and selection course.
Dafne Carrasco, Silvera
- Currently working on Silvera's Innovation Fund Award, a program that will support and celebrate innovative ideas from staff to create positive change and build a high performance culture.
We still have a spot available for members to talk about their projects. If you are interested in joining the show & tell, please email email@example.com with the name of your topic and we will get back to you. We will be updating this posting with Show and Tell topics as we confirm our speakers.
